Visitor and Volunteering Information

Lakeville Area Schools welcomes many visitors each day — whether you’re a parent, volunteer, or visiting for business, we’re glad to have you in our buildings. When visiting McGuire Middle School, please bring your driver's license or passport. All visitors will be required to show photo identification.

To help ensure a safe and secure environment for all, each school uses a Visitor Management System located at the front entrance. This system helps us monitor who is entering our buildings and the purpose of their visit.

  • Tracks visitors in a centralized database
  • Provides enhanced access control
  • Supports a safe and secure school environment

Thank you for partnering with us in keeping our schools safe, welcoming spaces for all.

We truly value the parents, volunteers and community members who spend time in our buildings to help support our students.

For additional information, please visit the Visitor Info.

Volunteering

Volunteers play an important role in Lakeville Area Schools.

By sharing your time and talents, you help create positive learning experiences and support student success across our schools. You can volunteer in many ways, including:

  • Reading with students
  • Supporting teachers and classrooms
  • Chaperoning field trips and/or co-curricular activities
  • Assisting with school events and activities
  • Participating in Parent/Teacher Organizations (PTOs)
  • Serving on Advisory Councils

Whether you can help once or throughout the year, your involvement makes a meaningful difference for our students and staff.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the school where you would like to serve to learn more about available opportunities and needs. Depending on your volunteer interests and role, you may be required to complete a volunteer application and background check.
